Who is Tracesoft Ltd

Tracesoft is a joint venture between Eurotechbridge , a Norwegian privately held company, and local partners, Scanlink limited who possess strong competencies within traceability, supply chain management and trade.
 
Tracesoft has offices in Nairobi, Kenya and in Kampala, Uganda. Tracesoft also has project management capacity in Arusha, Tanzania. Tracesoft currently has a staff of 15 experts spread across East Africa delivering expert services on traceability, trade support and food safety, including technical implementation support.

TraceSoft has implemented and manages traceability and direct trade matching solutions for two major sectors, the coffee industry in Uganda in corporation with Uganda Coffee Development Authority and the flower sector in East Africa. These solutions make extensive use of the Global Traceability Network to provide upstream traceability data from suppliers to buyers, authorities and logistical parties in the whole value chain. In collaboration with UNIDO, TraceSoft is in the implementation process of a Traceability Information Exchange linked to market access, for the Tanzania Coffee Board.
In collaboration with the Kenya Government’s Pharmacy and Poisons Board and other partners, Tracesoft is in the process of deploying a pilot project for tracking and tracing pharmaceutical products in the country that will deter counterfeits, manage recalls and enhance consumer engagement.
